Summer-Only CURE Application

Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC) , a comprehensive cancer center that brings together the cancer research efforts of seven member institutions (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Children's Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Massachusetts General Hospital), is committed to building the most diverse and well-trained cancer research workforce in the world.

The Summer-Only Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) program is a highly competitive 8 - 12 WEEK summer program for high school and undergraduate students from underrepresented populations. Students conduct hands-on, mentored basic, nursing, clinical and/or population science research at DF/HCC.

THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL APPLICANTS. You will be notified when your completed application has been received. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

• Application Form
• An unofficial copy of transcript or report card from most current school and year
• Current résumé
• Letter(s) of Recommendation: A total of two letters of recommendation is required. At least one recommendation letter must be from your science or mathematics teacher/professor. A maximum of three recommendation letters per application should be submitted.
• Parent/Guardian Consent form (if under the age of 18)

Once your account is created, you can log into your application and make updates prior to the application deadline. Be sure to SAVE changes to your application as you go; the application form will NOT automatically save changes. Your application cannot be submitted until all required fields have been completed.

After you have submitted your application with all of the necessary information it will be sent to the Summer-Only CURE program. You will be able to print your submitted application. You may also sign back in at any time to view it, however, SUBMITTED APPLICATIONS CANNOT BE EDITED FURTHER.
