Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC) , a comprehensive cancer center in Boston, Massachusetts that brings together the cancer research efforts of seven member institutions (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Children's Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Massachusetts General Hospital), is committed to building the most well-trained cancer research workforce in the world.
The Summer-Only Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences for Out-of-State Research-Active Institutions (CURE-RAI) program is a highly competitive 11 WEEK summer program for undergraduate students attending out-of-state research-active institutions, including but not limited to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), and other Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs). This includes colleges and universities that have historically not been recognized for high research activity, such as institutions that offer few or no doctoral programs. We are committed to equal opportunity and nondiscrimination for all persons. Accepted students conduct hands-on, mentored basic, nursing, clinical and/or population science research at DF/HCC. Additionally, housing and transportation costs are covered.
